Barry Golding
Barry Golding has degrees in Mining Engineering, Economics, and over 30 years experience in project management and infrastructure development. He has a successful track record in meeting project deadlines, directing the focus of stakeholders towards critical issues, and for consistently achieving significant cost reduction.
Barry has strong communication and leadership skills, demonstrated by his ability in gaining the co-operation of disparate groups across government, companies, joint venture partners and industry bodies.
In recent years, Barry has had the opportunity to refresh his knowledge of resource, environmental and welfare economics, firstly completing a Postgraduate Diploma of Applied Economics followed by a Master of Economics by Research. The focus for both degrees was applying cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness techniques to resource management. The research also required becoming conversant with the latest thinking on risk analysis and sustainable development.
